Where are you located?: Photography began for me in my home state of Portland, Oregon, but I have since transitioned to the beautiful Land of Enchantment - Albuquerque, New Mexico. I love adventuring and exploring new locations, and have shot weddings all throughout Oregon, Washington, and California. I can't wait to see what the Southwest has in store!
How long have you been working as a photographer?: I have been blessed to capture the special moments in the lives of others for the past 13 years!
How would you describe your style?: Timeless, romantic and colorful- with a film-like, photojournalistic approach. I love the raw, beautiful moments that love produces, and all of the simple details that surround it.
Have you been featured by any major publications or blogs?: Yes, we have been featured by Oregon Bride Magazine, Seattle Bride Magazine, Farm Journal Magazine, and in many other wedding publications and blogs.
Do you photograph weddings?: I was in the wedding photography business for over 10 years and absolutely loved it. Though I have currently stepped away from weddings, I am still available for intimate celebrations and elopements. Please inquire to hear more!
How/when will I receive my photos? And will I have printing rights to them?: For portrait sessions, you will receive your digital images within 2 weeks, delivered to you in an online gallery with approximately 40-50 professionally edited images (with black & white copies). The album is completely downloadable at full resolution to your computer or device, and you will always have rights to print and distribute them as you please.
How/when will I receive the unedited photos as well?: No, I believe in giving our clients the best selection of photos and feel that unedited images to not represent my business fully. Many photos can be duplicates, individuals can look unprepared, or we may be testing lighting at times. Therefore, I hand select and professionally edit the best, most beautiful images that I can be sure my clients will fall in love with.
What should we wear for our portrait session?: If you are unsure what to wear, please feel free to ask! I am more than happy to provide style advice and share an outfit idea board based on what type of session you are booking. A good first and foremost piece of advice, is to stay true to who you are, while dressing up a bit with colors and patterns that compliment the session. Maternity, boudoir, coordinated family sessions, graduates, engagement sessions- I am here to help stylize and help you feel and look wonderful!
